And the winner is…

13th November 2015

Delegates at the Educated Yorkshire conference on 12 November were invited to take part in Get Out More’s Stick Challenge.  Delegates battled it out to build the tallest freestanding stick tower to win a free forest school taster or outdoor learning day for their setting. Many stick architects struggled to break the 1 metre barrier but with some engineering prowess the winner with the tallest tower of 1.065m was Richard Nelson who teaches about education outside of the classroom at Bradford College.  His Education students will be enjoying their day in the woods next year.

Get Out More was at the conference to showcase its outdoor programmes for schools.  If you missed the conference but would like to find out more about our schools services, contact us today to be emailed our Schools flier with some special offers which we will hold until the end of 2015.  20151113_134647
