OUR STAFF AND BOARD
The people at the heart of the enterprise
Annie Berrington
is the founder of Get Out More and its Managing Director responsible for running the organisation including securing contracts, developing programmes and looking after the day to day business of developing the social enterprise. Annie is a qualified forest school practitioner and trainer, but these days gets out on projects less than she used to.
Susan Eardley
is the Admin and Finance Manager who looks after the finances, human resources and organisational administration. Susan has over 20 years of experience supporting third sector organisations. Susan loves a spreadsheet and is the owner of Billy, our fluffy office dog
Sam Colman
is the lead Project Coordinator working on the Better Start Bradford Forest School Play Project, but helps out on other projects too. Sam has heaps of experience of running forest schools with all ages, including very young children. He is a ‘big kid at heart and enjoys forest schools as much as the children’.
Hazel Thompson
is Project Coordinator for the All for Play project and is busy running sessions for all ages in the Keighley Big Local area. As a mum of six, she knows plenty about playing with children and throughout the week pops up in parks, woodlands and streets with a raft of nature-based ideas for the local community to join in.
Ryan Passmore
is the Marketing and Projects Assistant who supports the whole team with promoting and administering the projects. Ryan’s degree and interests lie within Rivers and Conservation and so when he’s not in the office, we let him go out and about with Get Out More’s Outdoor Taskforce.
Sue Barker
Sue is a Project Coordinator, responsible for wellbeing projects, although she can be found working on Forest School Play Project, London’s Burning and the holiday forest schools. Sue began her forest school career on our very own Outdoor Futures employment programme. She volunteers in her community and is a keen outdoor swimmer.
