Forest School Play Project: Bradford
Nature-based play programme for the under 4’s and their families,
in the Better Start Bradford area
The Forest School Play Project is an exciting, inclusive and adventurous nature-based play programme for children aged under 4 and their families living in the Better Start Bradford area, (Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton). The Forest School Play Project is one of over 20 innovative projects commissioned by Better Start Bradford to give children the best possible start in life. It is part of a 10 year programme funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
Get Out More runs weekly forest schools with 3-year olds attending nurseries across the Better Start Bradford area on a term by term basis. In addition to the forest school programmes, we have a fun programme of family play sessions in parks. Sessions are aimed at families with children aged under 4 and their siblings living in the Better Start Bradford area.
Sessions are free to access and there is no need to book. See timetable below for the latest timetable. For further information about The Forest School Play Project, get in touch
Please check the Forest School Play Project Facebook page for updates as sessions may have to be cancelled at late notice e.g. in case of very bad weather.
