Get Out More’s community programmes bring people together in outdoor settings to engage with the the local environment.   Our fun and accessible programmes can help people learn new skills and meet their neighbours, raise awareness of local green spaces, create environmental improvements, consult local people and address health and social issues.

We work with people of all ages and from all walks of life, including older people, disabled people, unemployed people, recovering substance mis-users and diverse communities in areas of disadvantage, using outdoor engagement activities to address health inequalities, community cohesion and consultation.

We have run Community Engagement programmes for local authorities and voluntary sector organisations which have brought together individuals and groups through activities such as:

  • Foraging and campfire cooking
  • Bread-making
  • Wild Art
  • Walking
  • Forest school and bushcraft skills
